PARVIN ARDALAN

O Cinemulher e o Observatório da Mulher tiveram, na noite de 24/02, a oportunidade e o prazer de entrevistar Parvin Ardalan, feminista, ativista em Direitos da Mulher, escritora e jornalista.
Ardalan recebeu o prêmio Olof Palme em 2007 pela sua luta por direito igualitários entre mulheres e homens no Irã – prêmio que não pode receber em virtude de seu passaporte estar preso em seu país. Na década de 90, com Nooshin Ahmadi Khorasani, fundou o Centro Cultural para Mulheres (Markaz-e Farhangi-ye Zanan), um centro de formação, análise e documentação sobre a temática da mulher no Irã. Tendo sido proibida de criar uma editora, a organização utilizou a mídia eletrônica para garantir a divulgação de publicações feministas e que denunciem as desigualdades do Irã e, desde 2005 tem publicado a Zanesta, primeira revista on line sobre os direitos da mulher.
Nossa entrevistada é também uma das fundadoras da campanha “Um milhão de assinaturas” cujo objetivo é coletar um milhão de assinaturas para os direitos igualitários entre homens e mulheres. Como parte da campanha Ardalan participou ativamente de protestos que tem sido violentamente silenciados. Em 2007, Ardalan e Nooshing Ahmadi foram sentenciadas a três anos de prisão por “ameaça a segurança nacional”. Mais quatro ativistas posteriormente receberam a mesma sentença.
Como podem ver, a entrevista que agora está em processo de edição, mostra a que luta das mulheres é universal e que o feminismo tem papel estruturante na organização das mulheres. Assim que possível daremos mais notícias por aqui.

Cinemulher and Observatório da Mulher had the pleasure and the opportunity on 24 th February to interview Parvin Ardalan, a leading Iranian women's rights activist, writer and journalist.
Ardalan was awarded the Olof Palme Prize in 2007 for her struggle for equal rights for men and women in. 1990s Ardalan, along with e.g. Nooshin Ahmadi Khorasani, established the Women's Cultural Centre (Markaz-e Farhangi-ye Zanan), which since then has been a center for forming opinions, analyzing and documenting the women's issues in Iran. Since 2005 the organization has published Iran's first online magazine on women's rights, Zanestan, with Ardalan as its editor.
Ardalan is also one of the founding members of the One Million Signatures Campaign, attempting to collect a million signatures for women's equal rights. As a part of the campaign she has taken part in protests that have been violently silenced. In 2007 she, together with Nooshing Ahmadi, was sentenced to three years in prison for "threatening the national security" with his struggle for women's rights. Four more women's rights activists later received the same sentence.
As you can see, our interview that is on a editing process, shows that the women´s struggle is universal and the feminism has a structural role in women´s organization. As soon as possible we send news about this issue.
